What's Happening Coastal Georgia - June 2020
June initiates the real beginning of Summer in Savannah, with increasingly high temperatures, especially toward the end of the month. By this time Savannah's Spring peak tourist season is over, but there are still large numbers of people visiting from all over to enjoy summertime in the Historic District and on local beaches. Due to COVID-19, this year's event calendar may look a bit slimmer than years past, but the city is working hard to safely re-open so many tourist attractions can resume in the weeks and months to come. A great way to enjoy the Coastal Empire while practicing social distancing is to explore Tybee Island or the other sea islands of Georgia and South Carolina!
